The band ExNN has won the national preselection for the contest The Global Battle of The Bands (GBOB) and will represent Moldova in the final that will be held in Malasya’s Kuala Lumpur on February 26. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, GBOB Moldova director Victoria Dobrogeanu said that seven bands have taken part in the national preselection. The winner was chosen according to such criteria as voice, musical composition, performance and originality, Victoria Dobrogeanu stated. The contest’s top prize is US$100,000 and a world tour. ExNN competed in The Global Battle of The Bands in 2007, but did not win a prize then.
