Exit polls will be held in the municipality of Chisinau on June 3. The Central Election Commission approved a decision in this respect on May 29. The exit polls will be conducted by the Association for Participatory Democracy ADEPT, Public Policy Institute, together with sociological organisations. 55 poll interviewers were accredited to perform this job. They are obliged to keep the secret of the results until 21.00, to refrain from campaigning, and from representing a candidate etc. Also on Tuesday, CEC has accredited 83 national and international observers for the elections scheduled for June 3, of which 55 on behalf of the League for the Defence of Human Rights. Exit polls were conducted for the first time in the parliamentary elections of 6 March 2005.
