The third “IarmarEco” – the Fair of Ecological Opportunities and Social Entrepreneurship – will bring together more than 80 exhibitors and is expected to be visited by over 1,000 people. “IarmarEco” is staged by the public association “EcoVisio” with the aim of informing the general public about the possibilities of changing the routine into a more active, healthy and sustainable lifestyle, IPN reports.

According to the organizers, the visitors of the event will take part in sessions on social entrepreneurship, vegetarian food, sharing economy, interdependence between a clean environment and human health. They will also find out how they can develop a consumer-oriented ecological business and will be able to personalize a cloth purse, to see how they can create a bag from an old pair of jeans or how new life can be given to paper.

The visitors will taste a vegetarian soup prepared in ten minutes and will discover the benefits of honey and how it can be used, will find out how soap can be made in domestic conditions and how useful fertilizers can be obtained from organic waste.

There will be special play areas for children. These could attend educative workshops. The parents will learn to make toys for children using clothes or other used things. Those who will come by bicycle or will bring batteries for recycling or old clothes will be awarded by a ticket for the draw that will be held at the end of the event. The draw will also involve the visitors who will gather by 10 stickers during the discussions with exhibitors.

The visitors will also be able to purchase what they like from the exhibition and sale of organic products, handicrafts, organic beauty products, educative toys and ecological projects.

“IarmarEco” will take place at the Palace of Railway Workers in Chisinau on October 25, starting at 12 noon.
