Executive creates Social Inspectorate

The Government founded the Social Inspectorate that will work under the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Labor Minister Valentina Buliga said among the duties of the new body are to inspect and monitor the quality of the social services provided by public and private institutions and nongovernmental organizations, in accordance with the minimum quality standards.
The Social Inspectorate will fix the state benefits and will produce and submit reports to all the competent central and local public authorities and the accredited private organizations whose services will be inspected.
The Inspection will have 25 employees. A sum of 3.6 million lei was allocated from the budget this year for running the new body.
