In a press release, the PSRM says that in the meeting held last weekend, the members of the party’s National Council analyzed the sociopolitical situation in the Republic of Moldova and expressed their deep concern about the multiple crises experienced by the country.
“The energy crisis that led to the doubling or even trebling of end users’ natural gas bills and the significant increase in heating bills as well as the rise in the prices of coal and firewood are a serious blow given by the ruling regime to the whole society,” runs the press release.
The National Council of the PSRM also said that the daily increases in the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel turned into a real “horror series” for the Moldovan citizens who wait for tomorrow with profound concern. The prices of all the products, including of bare essentials, such as bread and milk, rose to levels Moldova hasn’t seen since the 1990s.
