The students will study at education institutions in Switzerland, including universities, federal technology institutes and universities of applied sciences. Proficiency in French, German, Italian or English is mandatory, depending on the requirements of the education institution selected by the candidate.
Information about the eligibility criteria and application procedures can be obtained by writing to chisinau@eda.admin.ch.
Applications can be submitted between September 2 and November 15, from Monday through Wednesday, between 2pm and 5pm, to the Swiss Cooperation Office situated at 23-B, A. Mateevici St in Chisinau.
The Swiss authorities issued a warning about possible ‘phishing’ attacks with email offers of excellence scholarships in the name of the Government of Switzerland. The Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students said that it does not distribute information about the offered scholarship by email. The program of scholarships is managed directly by the local Swiss representative offices. The Swiss authorities recommend not to answer such letters and not to send the required sums of money.
