The lawmakers Friday adopted in the first reading a bill providing for the online recording and transmission of the admission and qualification exams, both written and spoken, for lawyers, judges and prosecutors. The bill was put forward by the Liberal Party, Info-Prim Neo reports. Bill author Valeriu Munteanu said the draft law aims to ensure transparency in the work of the profession licensing commission and to prevent cases of corruption and traffic of influence among the members of this commission. According to the MP, the online video recording and transmission of exams will help prevent persons who do not meet the legal requirements from entering a profession and will contribute to strengthening justice. Valeriu Munteanu also said the implementation of the law will not require additional state budget costs.
