Former ministers Aureliu Ciocoi, Corneliu Popovici and Victor Gaiciuc were appointed presidential advisers by decrees signed by President Igor Dodon on March 16, IPN reports.

“I thanked everyone for their service as ministers and congratulated them on their return to the presidential team. I expressed my conviction that they will continue to make effort to successfully fulfill their duties,” President Dodon posted on Facebook.

A ceremony to swear in four new ministers and one new deputy prime minister in the Government led by Prime Minister Ion Chicu was held earlier today following the formation of a new government coalition by the PSRM and PDM. The new Cabinet members are: Cristina Lesnic, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration; Oleg Țulea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration; Alexandru Pânzari,  Minister of Defense; Igor Șarov, Minister of Education, Culture and Research, and Sergiu Railean, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure.
