The former minister of environment Iuliana Cantaragiu was appointed presidential adviser. A decree to this effect was signed by President Maia Sandu, IPN reports.
Under the decree, Iuliana Cantaragiu will serve as adviser on environment and climate change as from December 19.
Iuliana Cantaragiu stepped down as minister of environment at the start of September. She formed part of the government team with which Premier Natalia Gavrilița asked for a vote of confidence from Parliament in August 2021.
