Anatol Ciubotaru, who was dismissed from the post of director of the National Clinical Hospital three days ago, said that his request to hire him as a surgeon at the institution was yet rejected, IPN reports.
In the program “Black Box” on TV8 channel, the former director said that he learned about his dismissal from his daughter, who called him that evening. When the Commission for Exceptional Satiations took that decision, he was in his office.
Anatol Ciubotaru noted that he went to the hospital to leave an application to be hired as a surgeon, but the new director rejected this for now, saying he was to consult the minister about this.
He also said that there was dissatisfaction with his dismissal and two of his deputies tendered their resignations. However, there is now no place for such actions, anger, etc.
Anatol Ciubotaru stated that he knows the new director of the National Clinical Hospital Andrei Uncuța. “I understand him. He is a soldier and they summoned him and told him to be on duty. I invited all my colleagues and told them not to be angry as we now have only one enemy – the coronavirus. We must be as united as possible and leave the whims, anger aside,” he said.
Anatol Ciubotaru was dismissed from the post of director of the National Clinical Hospital “Timofei Moșneaga” on March 24, following a decision taken by the Commission for Exceptional Situations. He was replaced by Andrei Uncuța. Prime Minister Ion Chicu said the decision to make changes in the administration of the National Clinical Hospital was taken with the aim of increasing the institution’s capacities to cope with the epidemiological challenges.
