Ex-director of Corjova Secondary School Constantin Sucitu succumbs to COVID-19

The former director of the Corjova Secondary School of Dubăsari district Constantin Sucitu, who was diagnosed with COVID-19, died at the age of 78. The teaching community of Moldova expressed its condolences to the teacher’s family, IPN reports.

In an obituary, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research said that during over 50 years, Constantin Sucitu worked as a teacher of math, deputy principal, school inspector, head of the methodological office of the Dubăsari Education Division, principal of the Corjova Secondary School of Dubăsari district.

He also served as a local and district adviser and was awarded the Faith to the Motherland Order by the President of Moldova and the Educational Merit Order, the Officer rank, by the President of Romania.

Constantin Sucitu was born in Hârbovățul Nou village of Anenii Noi district on May 3, 1942.
