Ex-deputy mayor Mihai Furtuna named presidential adviser
Former deputy mayor of Chisinau Mihail Furtuna was appointed presidential adviser on economic matters, while ex-Minister of Justice Alexei Barbaneagra as adviser on national society and defense and secretary of the Supreme Security Council, Info-Prim Neo reports.
President Nicolae Timfoti on April 11 issued two decrees on the appointment of members of the President’s apparatus.
Earlier, former Minister of Justice Ion Paduraru, who is the dean of the Chisinau Bar Association, was named secretary general of the President’s apparatus, while the head of Chisinau’s Centru district Vladimir Sarban became deputy secretary general. The related presidential decrees were signed on April 6.
The same day, two presidential advisers were confirmed to posts – former MP Vladimir Ciobanu as adviser on public administration and agroindustrial issues, while Vasile Sturza as adviser on reintegration matters.
