Evil inside AEI derives from secret annex, Igor Botan
All the evil inside the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) derives from the secret annex to the agreement on the formation of the alliance, which defines how the state posts are distributed, political analyst Igor Botan said in the program “Fabrika” on Publika TV.
Nicolae Chirtoaca, director of the Independent Institute for Strategic Studies, said the political parties now fight for the post of prosecutor general and control over the judicial system. “The political class pursues evil interests and is not afraid of God. The main goal is to obtain superprofit from the people. This country is governed by profiteers who struggle to gain different kinds of profits,” he stated.
Political analyst and Communist Chisinau councilor Victor Gurau considers that those who have held power for two years made effort to secure their incomes and now are playing with society.
“The political leaders reached a deadlock and are looking for a solution. In such a situation, a suitable presidential candidate can be found only outside political parties. We should also suggest solutions and field candidates. Society is not only the 101 MPs,” said Victor Gurau.
In the same connection, political analyst Oazu Nantoi said it would be ideal if the President of Moldova promoted statehood. “If the ruling alliance had anticipated the move and put forward a politically unaffiliated candidate themselves, the PCRM would have been put in the situation of having to vote for such a candidate. We must exert pressure on the politicians so that the head of state is elected,” he said, adding the early legislative elections are more probable than the election of the head of state.
The presidential elections will take place on November 18. According to the participants in the program, one candidate has been registered so far.
