The Chisinau City Hall has announced the events that it will stage on the occasion of the National Culture Day celebrated on January 15. In a news conference, head of the Culture Division Lucia Culev said this year the City Hall organizes the evenings “Sled with jingling bells”, the Open Doors Day at the rehearsal and creation halls of Chisinau municipality, located at 68 Bucuresti St, and the contest “Grammar class”.
The three-meter-long sled, built especially for his year’s National Culture Day, will be present in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau until January 15. Those who want can travel by it if they donate a book.
The rehearsal and creation halls of Chisinau municipality open their doors to the public on January 15. Starting at 12 noon, those interested can attend chorography courses and can follow how artists have rehearsals.
The contest “Grammar class” is an initiative implemented by the Chisinau City Hall in concert with the Language Faculty of the State University of Moldova. Anyone can take part in this in the Faculty’s lecture rooms No. 4 and No. 5 on January 14, starting at 11am.
The National Culture Day was instituted by Parliament in 2012.
