20 youths will be trained three days to develop their skills in working with disabled students. The courses are part of a project “Equal opportunities for disabled students in higher education in Moldova” and is organized by the Gaudeamus disabled students association from October 23 to 26 in Holercani village.
The courses are attended by young volunteers and disabled students for experience exchange. The moderators are Moldovan psychologists Valentina Pritcan and Lilia Ciobanu. The students are also going to develop and distribute promoting materials in universities, the manager of the association, Grigore Ciobanu, has told Info-Prim Neo.
The project is implemented with the European Foundation for pluralism and democracy in Europe's Center and East from the Netherlands. The project is implemented through the MATRA Program of social transformations, pursuing to encourage the transition processes in those countries. The program supports projects dealing with the human rights, public administration, laws, healthcare anmd environment.
