The EU Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmstrom will be paying a visit to Moldova on October 22 and 23. The official will have meetings with a number of Moldovan officials, IPN reports.

On the first day of the visit, the European Commissioner will meet with President Nicolae Timofti and Minister of Economy Stephane Bride.

On October 23, Cecilia Malmstrom will have meetings with Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet, Head of Parliament Andrian Candu and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman.

The EU Commissioner will also give a public speech in a conference centering on the DCFTA at the LeoGrant Hotel, which will involve representatives of the business community and other interested sides. The event will take place on October 23, between 12:15 and 2:30pm.
