The Delegation of the Subcommittee on Security and Defense of the European welcomed the formation of the new coalition and expressed hope that the new government will be formed soon and that it will continue the policy of implementing Association Agreement with the EU, IPN reports.

The delegation is in Moldova on a visit during July 20 -23. It decided to come to Chisinau to support Moldova in this new geopolitical situation.

Recent reports adopted by the European Parliament suggest that stability of the region can be preserved inter alia by greater cooperation of Moldova and Ukraine with European and Euroatlantic security institutions.

In all of meetings there was an agreement that the EUBAM mission should be extended and that overall EU-Moldova cooperation in the security area should be expanded.
