European Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmström and European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Dacian Ciolos will arrive in Chisinau on May 22, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Government.

In the morning, Dacian Ciolos will take part in the Congress of Representatives of Local Authorities. Afterward, he will have a meeting with representatives of the mass media. The same dame, Dacian Ciolos, Cecilia Malmström and Prime Minister Iurie Leanca will have a trilateral meeting that will be followed by a joint news conference. In the evening, Dacian Ciolos and Cecilia Malmström will have a meeting with President Nicolae Timofti and Head of Parliament Igor Corman.

The next day, on May 23, Dacian Ciolos will pay a visit to Comrat, where he will have a meeting with the chairman of the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia Mihail Formuzal. Later, he will meet with students of the Comrat University. In the evening, the European Commissioner will go to Costesti, Ialoveni, to meet local farmers.

On May 23, Cecilia Malmström will take part in a public forum entitled “Women for a European Moldova”. Afterward, Iurie Leanca and Cecilia Malmström will give a public lecture at the State University of Moldova.
