European Commission to assist Moldova in reforming water supply and sewerage sectors
The European Commission will provide 45 million euros to Moldova as part of the support to the water supply sector program, which will last for five years, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Of this sum, 37 million euros will be offers as direct support to the budget, 6 million euros to implement pilot projects in Nisporeni district, while 3 million euros as technical assistance, the Government’s press service has said.
The 37 million euros will be transferred to the state budget in three tranches: 15 million euros, 11 million euros and 11 million euros. The second and third tranches will be disbursed after the activities stipulated in the program are carried out.
