Deputy Prime Minister Natalia Gherman will take part in the tenth meeting of the European Action Group for Moldova that will be held in Brussels on March 16. The event will involve the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, European Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn and the foreign affairs ministers of the 28 EU member states, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the goal of the meeting is to confer on Moldovan authorities’ priorities concerning the reform program, methods of supporting the efforts made to implement the Association Agreement with the EU and on sides’ expectations of the Riga Summit.

The European Action Group for Moldova is an informal ministerial mechanism launched in January 2010 on the initiative of Romania and France.
