“Europe at home” summer school, now in Moldova
The European Union Delegation to Moldova organized the first summer school dubbed “Europe at home”, dedicated to the network of Euro-clubs for youth from Moldova, and was attended by 26 youths, aged between 16 and 23 years, from different parts of Moldova, reports Info-Prim Neo.
For three days the beneficiaries of the summer school had the possibility to participate in theoretical and practical courses on topics related to EU’s instruments for youth: Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Jean Monet, Comenius – benefits and opportunities, the support of youth’s businesses and new ideas, as well as the expansion of citizen access to on-line public services, etc.
Representatives of the European Union in Moldova, as well as of the Moldovan Government and national experts in national and European project management have served as trainers at the school.
The Euro-club represents a youth association based on the mutual values and interests of its members, with the aim of promoting and strengthening European values among youth. There are five Euro-clubs in Moldova, which are active since 2011, in Chisinau, Balti and Cahul.
