The Ministry of Culture has announced a contest to fill the vacant post of director of “Eugene Ionesco” Theater. The head of the Ministry’s Professional Arts Division Aliona Strambeanu has told Info-Prim Neo that the theater’s director Andrei Locoman tendered his resignation and the artistic director Petru Vutcarau is holding the post on an interim basis. The applicants must present the conception of the artistic and managerial activity program, the documents sowing their studies and refresher courses attended and the obtained scientific titles, prizes and diplomas, authenticated by the notary or the staff service from their job. The deadline for submissions is October 15. A commission will be set up in a week and the contest will be held afterward. Andrei Locoman had been the director of “Eugene Ionesco” Theater since 2002.
