The head of the International Cooperation Directorate of the Border Police, Eugen Levco, has been appointed deputy head of the General Inspectorate of Border Police. An order to this effect was signed by Interior Minister Daniella Misail-Nichitin, IPN reports.
Minister Daniella Misail-Nichitin expressed confidence that under the leadership of the new deputy chief, the Border Police will continue to successfully fulfill the tasks entrusted to it, further strengthening the modernization and efficiency of the institution's work.
For his part, Eugen Levco said that the responsibility that comes with his appointment honors and motivates him.
"My priority is to support the strengthening of the operational capacities of the Border Police by promoting effective professional integrity management and strategic cooperation at national and international level. Thank you for your trust," he said.
