Eugen Doga’s music will be broadcast in public transport for a week

The most famous songs composed by Eugen Doga will be transmitted in the public units of transport in Chisinau during a week on the occasion of the composer’s 75th birthday, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca wishes the master many happy returns and health so that he could further promote Moldova abroad by his works,” the Chisinau City Hall says in a communiqué. Doga’s music will be broadcast in over 500 trolleybuses, busses and minibuses. Eugen Doga is well-known all over the world. He wrote music for more than 200 movies, romantic songs, symphonies and other musical genres. He is the author of Chisinau’s anthem. Eugen Doga was born in Mocra village of Rybnitsa district on March 1, 1937. A Chisinau music school bears his name. In 2007, the composer became a Citizen of Honor of Chisinau municipality.
