“Many countries would like to have such a beautiful capital. Chisinau is very beautiful. I've seen many cities in the world, but Chisinau bests them all”, composer Eugen Doga told Info-Prim Neo. The artist says he has all the reasons to believe in Chisinau's bright future. Eugen Doga said he wrote many works inspired by the beauty of the city. “First of all, Chisinau is a clean and tidy city. Recently, many good things have been done: nice sidewalks, trimmed trees, new and beautiful houses. I'd say more is done here than in the whole country. Chisinau is integrated, it's a whole body with hands, feet, head and brains. Meanwhile, the country is split, harassed, hated”, said the composer. He regrets the local people don't love themselves enough. “We don't really love ourselves or what we do. Some of our music is sang by the whole world, yet it remains unknown to Moldovans. We lack the psychological need to have dignity, to bear these symbols not only in notebooks and diplomas, but in our soul as well. I wish every inhabitant of the capital and of the whole country knew the anthem of Chisinau”, said Eugen Doga. The composer stressed the importance of harmony between people, as the society was too divided. He wished the best to Chisinau and its citizens. “May God help you be happy and reach understanding between yourselves, because only as a community, with hands, hearts and breaths united, can we raise a flower and wear it on the chest as a beautiful symbol of Chisinau”, Eugen Doga told Info-Prim Neo.
