Eighty martsishors improvised from balloons were released into the sky in front of the Chisinau City Hall to honor master Eugen Doga, who turned eighty today, March 1, IPN reports.
The event involved the composer, who was congratulated by Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca.
On the occasion of the anniversary, a group of children danced to the rhythms of Doga’s famous waltz, written for the production “My sweet and tender beast”.
Also, on the initiative of the mayor, Eugen Doga signed in the book of honor of Chisinau municipality.
