Composer Eugen Doga will be able to give concerts in the Transnistrian region, including in his native village, after Prime Minister Vlad Filat made arrangements to this end as part of a project called the Music Salon, the Government said in a press release. Vlad Filat said that following discussions with the Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk, the renowned composer will give concerts in his native village Mocra and in Rybnitsa town. Last time Doga performed there 25 years ago. The prime minister visited the Music Salon, which will be inaugurated on November 1, and praised Eugen Doga's idea of having such a project where young composers will have the opportunity to learn the insights of composition and launch their own musical projects. The composer thanked the prime minister for the support offered in preparing the launch of this project, which was initiated 8 years ago.
