Composer Eugen Doga and writer Spiridon Vangheli are the first donors of books for the library set up by the Chisinau Culture Division on the occasion of the National Culture Day, IPN reports.
Among the books donated by Eugen Doga is the volume “From the secret history of World War II”. The master said this book relates also the destiny of the Moldovan people.
Spiridon Vangheli brought his most recent book “Eminescu’s spy”. The writer also formulated a dedication for readers: “For the children of Chisinau city for multiplying the joys for parents and our nation. Grow up dear children, grow up swifter and break the deadlock faced by the nation and restore the earlier glory.”
To have access to the events organized by the Chisinau City Hall on the National Culture Day, the participants will have to donate by a book.
The National Culture Day has been celebrated since 2012 on January 15, when writer Mihai Eminescu was born.
