This year the European Union will recognize the European prospect of Moldova one way or another, the leader of the Democratic Party and head of the Democratic parliamentary group Marian Lupu said, adding that he obtained such information when discussing with partners from Brussels, IPN reports.
The politician stated that this recognition will come as a component part of the Association Agreement between the EU and Moldova, when it is signed and ratified, or as a separate decision, but not later than this yearned.
According to Marian Lupu, Moldova can face challenges from outside in the wake of the regional developments, but everything depends on the quality of the anti-crisis management.
Earlier, President Nicolae Timofti and Prime Minister Iurie Leanca underlined the necessity of the EU granting a clear European prospect to Moldova so as to encourage the implementation of reforms in the country.
