EU ready to provide support in implementing reforms in internal affairs

The delegation of the EU’s Political and Security Committee to the meeting of the Moldova –European Union political dialogue that took place in Brussels last weekend approved of the Moldovan Government’s Plan of Action for 2011 – 2014. The European officials also welcomed the results of the informal meeting in the 5+2 format that was held in Vienna last week, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Foreign Ministry. In the meeting, the parties exchanged opinions on the priorities of the Moldova-EU relations, the internal developments in Moldova, the Transnistrian conflict settlement process and the relations with third countries. The representatives of the EU expressed readiness to provide support to Moldova in the process of carrying out reforms in the area of internal affairs. The delegation of Moldova was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Natalia Gherman, while of the EU by the permanent chairman of the EU’s Political and Security Committee Olof Skoog.
