Along with many other avenues of support to the Republic of Moldova, the European Union has provided €100,000 through its ‘EU4Moldova: Focal Regions’ program, to strengthen the local authorities in addressing the emerging needs of both the refugees and the host communities, together with our partners UNDP and UNICEF. This will contribute to the inclusive integration of refugees in Cahul and Ungheni regions,” stated Jānis Mažeiks, Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova.
