“The 2011 edition promotes the idea that every single person can make a change for the better, all that is needed is strong will and dedication. Equally small and big organizations have proven this in the previous editions of the Award,” said Boris Marte, a member of the Board of ERSTE Foundation.
A sum of €610,000 will be provided for innovative social integration projects in the 12 participating countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
The deadline for applications is November 30. The winners will be selected by a jury composed of 20 famous persons, experts in social integration, representatives of civil society, political class and mass media.
