Istanbul Basaksehir won an incredible victory in the struggle for a place in the UEFA Champions League. Alexandru Epureanu’s team trounced Galatasaray 4-0 in the 27th stage of the championship of Turkey, IPN reports.

Basaksehir is five points behind leader Besiktas, but remains six points ahead of Fenerbahce. Three goals against Galatasaray were scored by striker Emmanuel Adebayor. Fullback Epureanu played throughout the game.

Basaksehir also competes in Turkey’s Cup. In the semifinals, this plays against Fenerbahce.
