Epureanu slammed over diving by his own coach
FC Moscow's coach Oleg Blohin criticized sharply his pupil, Moldova's Alexandru Epureanu, for a dive in a recent match against Dynamo Moscow.
“Epureanu just did a poor acting job. There's nothing I could say to Dynamo's players for not returning us the ball; it was a pathetic piece of flopping by our player”, said Blohin.
Adding irony to his accusations, Blohin recalled the updated FIFA and UEFA regulations, according to which the fair-play rule is the prerogative of the central referee.
Alexandru Epureanu is expected to come to Chisinau in a couple of days to join Moldova's national football team for the WC 2010 qualifiers against Latvia and Israel on September 6 and 9, respectively.
