Epidemiological forms to be filled in electronic form from Oct. 5

As from October 5, the persons who will enter the Republic of Moldova will fill out the epidemiological form only in electronic form, throng the agency of a dedicated platform. “This way, the process of containing the COVID-19 pandemic will be optimized, including by fluidizing the flow of passengers and travelers through border crossing points,” Svetlana Nicolaescu, secretary of state at the Ministry of Health, stated in a briefing, being quoted by IPN.

The epidemiological form must be completed at most three days before entering the Republic of Moldova by persons who are to obey the self-isolation regime for 14 days. It goes to persons who have a COVID-19 vaccine certificate, a negative PCR test result valid for 72 hours or an antigen rapid test result valid for 48 hours, confirmatory medical conclusion in the case of persons who had COVID-19, in the period between the 15th and 180th day (6 months), or a document showing the presence of antibodies for COVID-19 valid for 90 days of the taking of the test. The Ministry of Health provided a tutorial video teaching how the epidemiological form can be completed.

This way, the Border Police, the National Public Health Agency and other responsible bodies will automatically possess comprehensive information about the persons who enter the country and these will be supervised to see how the obey the self-isolation regime.

Svetlana Nicolaescu said the information about travel advisories is further available on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
