The business entities involved in the rigged biddings for supplying food products to Chisinau education institutions will be included in a blacklist and will no longer be chosen at such biddings. A commission of inquiry constituted by the municipality will present its findings in about two weeks, IPN reports.
The working group’s head Mihai Moldovanu said they established that infected fish continued to be supplied to a kindergarten located in Ciocana district of Chisinau. The contract with the given supplier is valid until this yearend. The procedure for organizing biddings is difficult and lasts for over a month. Therefore, the existing contrasts are not terminated before time.
The biddings are conducted two times a year – at the end and at the middle of the school year. The companies with spoiled reputation will not be allowed to take part in the biddings that started or are yet to start, stated Mihai Moldovanu.
As regards the Ciocana kindergarten, the supplier was obliged to replace the consignment and to present additional quality certificates. The kindergarten’s administration was recommended to set up a special group for assessing the delivered products, which would include the medical assistant and storehouse manager. The director of the education institution bears the main responsibility for the quality of the supplied products.
