The entrepreneurs can already ask for subsidies from the Government for paying interest on loans. The assistance is provided by the Organization for Entrepreneur Development that has a budget of 200 million lei for the purpose, IPN reports.

“The measures are needed in order to alleviate the shocks of the rise in interest rates on loans taken out by small and medium-sized enterprises. The subsidies will be allocated from November 2022 until March 2023, for the August-December period, and will not exceed the cumulative sum of 300,000 per business entity,” said the authorities. 

To apply for subsidies, the entrepreneurs need to visit the website of the Organization for Entrepreneur Development or to dial +373 22 225 799.
