Vitalie Grushko from Falesti town, who is a member of the local Association of Entrepreneurs, said he was deprived of the owned booth and the things that were inside it, including money.
In a news conference at IPN, the entrepreneur said a conflict appeared between the Association of Entrepreneurs and the local Union of Consumption Cooperatives over alleged debts invoked by the latter.
The entrepreneurs work on a plot that belongs to the mayor’s office, but this was rented by the Union of Consumption Cooperatives for a period. The Union levied trading charges from entrepreneurs. At a certain moment, the Union increased the charges and many refused to pay, but ultimately complied. Even so, alleged debts for 2013 and 2014 are invoked and the Union went to court to have these paid.
Vitalie Grushko said this June, employees of the Union entered the market where he worked, cut the lock of the booth that belonged to him and took away all the things that were inside, including the money. The booth was also taken to an unknown place. The entrepreneur was presented no executory decision in this regard.
As he was deprived of booth and other properties, he cannot work. His losses came to 150,000 lei. The lawsuit he filed reached the Supreme Court of Justice. The man said he does not have money to go to courts and just wants his possessions to be returned or their value to be paid to him.
