The first stage of registration at lyceums in Chisinau begins on July 7 and ends on July 28. For the 2023-2024 school year, 5,520 places in 216 classes were planned, IPN reports.
At the meeting of the Chisinau City Hall, the deputy head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Andrei Pavaloi said that admission will take place at 98 secondary educational institutions, 83 of which are public, while 15 are private. The second enrolment stage will be held during August 7-10.
The students are enrolled both offline, directly at the institution to which the person applies, and online, on the platform escoala.chisinau.md. Admission to lyceums takes place on a contest basis, according to the average selection result.
The application can be submitted only to one institution. If an application to an institution was filed, but the student wants to be enrolled at another institution, the first application is withdrawn and a new application is submitted.
