English MP will deliver a speech in Moldovan Parliament

The strengthening of the bilateral interparliamentary cooperation, the legislative experience of the UK, education and healthcare systems of Moldova, the implementation of gender equality and guaranteeing of children’s rights will be the key topics for discussion while the Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Sylvia Heal, will be in Chisinau. The Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons will deliver a speech at the plenary meeting of the Parliament of July 26. The British official will have meetings with Speaker of Parliament Marian Lupu, with the chairman of the parliamentary commission for foreign policy and European integration, with members of the International Association of Business and Parliament, as well as a joint meeting with representatives of the Opposition parliamentary groups. The British parliamentarian will also meet with President Vladimir Voronin and with a number of ministers. She will visit the Gender centres, the centre of rehabilitation for victims of trafficking and the centre of rehabilitation for children “Hippocrates”. Sylvia Heal will be in Chisinau from 25 to 27 July. The visit is made in the name of Michael J. Martin, Speaker of the House of Commons of the British Parliament, on the invitation of Marian Lupu.
