The Administration Board of the Energy Efficiency Fund approved the launch of two new calls for project proposals – one for the private sector and another one for financing projects to improve the public lighting systems, IPN has learned from the Ministry of Economy.
The call for project proposals No. 4 is intended for private sector beneficiaries, legal entities dealing with economic activities such as production and supply of goods and services, regardless of the legal organizational form.
A sum of 50 million lei was allocated for this call - 30 million lei in the form of financial guarantees, and 20 million lei in the form of grants. The financial support for a project is 300,000 to 5 million lei, without VAT. An applicant can submit at most two project proposals. The beneficiaries will contribute at least 30% of the total cost of the project.
The call is open for projects to increase energy efficiency and use renewable sources of energy, to improve heating and ventilation systems, to set up solar collectors and geothermal pumps, etc.
The call for project proposals No. 5 is intended for authorized representatives of social facilities that are under central and local public ownership. The projects must be aimed at improving public lighting systems that are functional or partially functional.
A sum of 50 million lei was earmarked for this call. The beneficiaries will relceive 200,000 lei to 5 mullion lei, without VAT, and will contribute 25% of the total cost of the project. As in the previous case, an applicant can submit at most two project proposals.
The Energy Efficiency Fund for this year is 450 million lei.
