Electricity consumption for Tuesday, January 28, is expected to be about 2% lower than the previous day. Energocom announces that it has fully booked the commercial capacity needed on the right bank of the Dniester at the border with Romania, IPN reports.
According to the company, with the high temperatures for this period, the thermal power plants in Chisinau and Balti will produce less electricity than they would on a colder day.
Instead, favorable weather conditions are expected for wind and solar energy. This could increase the share of renewable energy by 4 percentage points compared to the previous day, reaching 14% of domestic consumption.
