Prime Minister Vlad Filat ordered that the heads of ministries, departments, agencies, institutions and companies, regardless of the form of ownership, institute a special working program for the immediate period now that the number of flu cases has increased, Info-Prim Neo reports. Under an ordinance made by the Premier, sanogene conditions will be ensured in public passenger transportation units, companies, education institutions and public institutions. The staff will be provided with disinfectants and detergents and conditions to have meals. The medical institutions should be immediately informed in case of infection. The order also says that the Ministry of Health and its subdivisions will make sure that all the medical-sanitary institutions take prophylaxis measures to prevent seasonal flu. A number of 18 cases of flu have been recorded this month. The presence of the virus was confirmed by laboratory tests. Thirteen cases were caused by the AH1N1 virus, while five – by the flu virus type B.
