Employers formulate suggestions for new Premier

The administration of the National Employers Confederation requested the Premier not to allow examining and approving legal and normative acts concerning the business climate in the Government’s meetings without the appraisals of the working groups for regulating entrepreneurial activity. The subject was discussed in a meeting of Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet and members of the Confederation’s Standing Bureau on August 7, IPN reports.

The Confederation’s chairman Leonid Cerescu proposed that the Prime Minister should act as the coordinator of the National Commission for Collective Consultations and Negotiations. The members of the Standing Bureau said they are ready to take part in the discussions centering on the drafting of the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework for 2016-2018, the 2016 State Budget, state social insurance budget and health insurance budget laws.

Leonid Cerescu assured Valeriu Strelet that if the dialogue is open, he will enjoy all the support on the part of the employers so as to carry out the tasks entreated to the Government. For his part, the Premier said that this meeting is a fist signal of the employers’ readiness to have discussions and consultations whenever it is necessary. He voiced hope that the dialogue will be constructive, it is said in a communique of the Government’s press service.
