Employers and trade unions agree guaranteed minimum salary

The employers and trade unions of Moldova reached a consensus on the guaranteed minimum salary in the real sector in 2014. The sides agreed to take into account the rate of inflation and the productivity growth rate, including of 2010, which were ignored the previous years, IPN reports.

The trade unionists’ leader Oleg Budza said that a joint meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family will be held next week to decide when the minimum guarantee salary will be raised.

The head of the National Employers Confederation Leonid Cerescu asked setting one date for the modification not two a year, so as not to affect the work of economic entities.
