Employees of the Special Police Brigade “Fulger” of the Ministry of the Interior’s General Police Inspectorate said they feel pressed and have to face serious problems in activity. They sent an open letter to the mass media, asking not to politicize this and to treat is as a call for aid made by ordinary employees, IPN reports.
The letter says the Brigade faces an intentionally caused wave of pressure and destabilization that is aimed at bringing the institution under control. The Brigade’s chief Cazimir Trocin cannot be reproached for something and should not leave the post only because he does not form part of the new team. A number of internal inquiries were fabricated against commander Cazimir Trocin and other employees for the purpose of removing the commander from administration at any cost.
The employees noted they are threatened primarily by the ex-commander, who said that he has influence at the Ministry of the Interior and the Prosecutor General’s Office and those who will not comply and will not make statements against the current commander will have criminal cases started against them. If things do not return to normality, the employees said they will leave en masse as they will not remain to work under the management of a person who does not deserve the post.
The about 50 signatories of the letter ask not to allow an abuse of power and to stop the intimidation of employees through unfounded internal inquiries. They call on the representatives of the government, including the head of the Parliament’s national security commission, to visit to Brigade and have collective and private discussions with employee so as to form an opinion about the situation.
