A 29-year-old employee of the General Border Police Inspectorate died in a car accident on the Chisinau – Cimișlia road, not far from Bozieni village of Hâncești district, in the morning of January 11. He was travelling in a taxicab, IPN reports.
According to the police, there were two more persons aged 31 and 34 in the cab besides the man, all from Hîrtop village of Cimișlia district.
The vehicle was moving from Cimișlia towards Hâncești and collided head-on with a car coming from the opposite direction in unknown circumstances.
The Border Police noted inspector Serghei Bostan worked in the central office of the General Border Police Inspectorate. He had served with the Border Police for over nine years, since 2011. He left a wife and three minor children.
Both the employees of the Border Police and of the General Police Inspectorate offered their condolences to the grieving family.
Update /2:50pm/ Later, as a result of his injuries, the taxicab driver also died. He was 34 and was in the car together with his brother aged 31, who is now at the Hâncești District Hospital.
