The negotiations on the constitution of a parliamentary majority were continued on Monday, May 27, but involved only the PLDM and PDM. After the talks, the negotiators told the journalists that the dynamics are positive, but they now focus on sensitive matters, IPN reports.
The PLDM’s negotiator Vadim Pistrinciuc said they consider the distribution of responsibilities by areas, the way different institutions of the central public administration are organized.
Valeriu Laza, negotiator on behalf of the PDM, said they made headway compared with the previous discussions. “It is a proportionally inverse relation. The fewer the subjects to be discussed, the harder the talks are. We continue to discuss the functioning mechanisms for several important state institutions and already shifted to persons,” he stated. The PDM’s decisional bodies will be convened on Tuesday or Wednesday to take decisions about the candidates.
The negotiations on the creation of a new parliamentary majority were launched after Lib-Dem Iurie Leanca was nominated for premiership. A governance agreement must be signed by May 30 so that the politicians are able to invest the new Cabinet. The PLDM has 31 seats of MP, the PDM – 15, while the Liberal reformers – 7. The Government is installed by at least 51 votes of MP.
