An emergency telephone line was set up at Moldova’s Embassy in Italy through which Moldovans and relatives affected by the 6.6 magnitude quake that hit the Italian region Perugia in the morning of October 30 can seek help. The line is +393294421091. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova said there have been no reports about Moldovan victims so far, IPN reports.

Dozens of persons were hurt in the earthquake. According to preliminary reports, at least seven persons were injured in Amatrice and Rieti in Lazio, two of these being in a serious state. Three persons were taken out of debris in Tolentino town of Marche region. Many people were hurt in Ussita, Castelsantangelo sul Nera in Marche and Norcia and Preci in Umbria.
