Sirens will wail on the entire territory of Moldova in the next two mornings. This way, the Emergency Situations Department (ESD) will perform the traditional technical verification of the centralised alert system of the population in Moldova. At 8.45 am, all the alert devices connected to the centralised system will be activated for one minute. Head of the Press Service of ESD Alexandru Oprea told Info-Prim Neo that the verification of the centralised alert devices is a part of the actions meant to prepare the civil protection of Moldova in 2007 in accordance with a Government decision. The testing of the centralised alert systems is performed yearly in Moldova.
